I came to work at eROI as a designer during a time of transition for the company. As part of a comprehensive re-branding, I painted murals of the company values throughout the space. But the first thing I did was to surprise the CEO with an 8-bit interpretation of his childhood portrait that I painted on the side of his office. My process involved sketching out each design and then mocking up how it would appear in the space. Once approved, I used a pretty janky system of tracing and taping using my mini-projector as a guide. I love painting any space as it is the most tranformative change you can make aside from lighting, and I like to demonstrate those hand skills. Details matter!
